Italy Trade BAF Increase

Dear Customer,

Kindly note that, ongoing increases in the bunker prices has forced Arkas Line to apply a BAF increase in certain trades.

As of 6st of March 2012, € 10/TEU BAF increase will be applied to all Italy – Turkey-Greece, Italy – Levant and Italy – Black Sea eastbound cargoes.

BAF increases will be applicable to all cargoes originating from the Italian ports (Genoa, La Spezia, Salerno, Naples, and Cagliari) which Arkas Line is offering service from.

Updated BAF levels will be as follows:

Italy – Turkey, Greece BAF: € 135/TEU

Italy – Egypt BAF: € 130/TEU

Italy – Beirut, Lattakia, Fmagusta BAF : € 110

Italy – Black Sea BAF: € 130/TEU

BAF increases will be valid as from Vento di Bora (509) ETA Salerno 06/03, ETA La Spezia 08/03, and ETA Genoa10/03. Vento Di Tramontana (607) Eta La Spezia 09/03, Eta Salerno 10/03
